i've created a webhelp system for a web-based application, and i have created map ids and windows for each topic.
i'm looking to add a Back to TOC, Previous and Next buttons to each topic window.
does robohelp provide an easy way to do that, or will i have to add my own script to the html code? and if script is the answer, can anyone suggest some sample code?
any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
P.S. i spoke to tech support, and they told me it couldn't be done. it was a little (very) difficult to understand him though....

Unfortunately you can't rely on Support to know all the ins and outs of the vast ocean of possibilities with RoboHelp.
So here's the deal. You can publish multiple times to multiple locations. Each different publish iteration may be configured slightly differently. So if you published once using the "Traditional - No Skin" version of WebHelp, you could coax the Previous and Next buttons to appear in the topics. (you must have a Browse Sequence to do this).
You could then publish with a desired skin, then copy the topic content from the non-skinned WebHelp to the skinned version. Then you would have mostly what you want.
Hope this helps a smidge... Rick

thank you! after i hung up with tech support, i figured that i wasn't yet at the top of the mountain, so to speak... it's been a while since i worked with robohelp, so i'm learning some things, and relearning old. it make take me a minute to orient myself on the skins. i'll give it a try!
