If they are actions you use every day, you could put them in the
Photoshop Actions folder at:
C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop CS/Presets/Photoshop Actions.
Once they are in that folder, they will show up in action palette flyout
I have no problems with saving and loading or replacing actions. I have many, many sets. What I want to do is: using an action invoking a script in each set to load an other set, if this can be done. An action alone to my knowledge can not load another set. I also try to avoid clicking on this little arrow to bring up the flyout menu.
The setup I have is for a fast paced environment, switching constanly to different sets of actions. I can load several sets at a time because the sets have over a hundred actions and would use too much real estate or too much scrolling.
Any way thanks for posting.
My topic was wrong it should read "Replacing Actions" the flyout only allows Loading. I want a script to be invoked by an action to replace a set of actions.

You may want to look at http://www.picstobits.com/adex_intro.php seems to do that and since it requires Photoshop Scripting it is most likely implemented using scripting. There seems to be problem using it with CS5 most likely some change in CS5 broke their code.... and they onle support 32 bit version of Photoshop.
Wow! ActionDex has improved a lot since I tried it out way back in PS 6 I think, but never liked it then.
Thanks for the link I will buy it right away it will be very helpful for all the action I have which with ActionDex I can then better organize.
I will see if it can do it and will report back..
Wanted to give 10 points to you but do not know how to do it. There are no buttons for correct and helpful answer.
Did you ever get this figured out, I could use this as well.
