    Firewords exporting help

    nancy_m
      Hi,
I have fireworks 8, I created a drop down menu, I put on cd rom for my client who had the trial version of cs3 fireworks. When we copy the work over to her computer, open the file, make changes, and export, I get an error message: cannot export read only file. I even saved the version as a save as in a different name, but when we make changes the same error message appears. I've transfered my original work on a cd and a flash drive too, and the same situation appears.
      any ideas? thank you-nancy

Copy the files from the CD to the Client computer. Use Explorer/Finder to
unset the Read only property of the files. Do your work. Burn a new CD
from the files on the Client computer.
