You need the 64 bit versions.
Are you using the 64-bit versions from AE CS5? The CS4 versions (which are 32-bit) won't work in CS5.
Thanks for your answers .....yes i was using it from CS4 ....... but I cannot find it in CS5 AE
On Windows 7, anyway: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS5\Support Files\Plug-ins\Effects\CycoreFX
A search on your system for "cycorefx" should reveal the location, if not there.
BTW, there's little reason to expect that the Cycore FX plug-ins for After Effects will work correctly in Premiere Pro. Maybe they do sometimes, but I wouldn't count on it. Consider that a mild warning.

While I do agree with this, thankfully, many of them do. Not all--in fact, several that worked in CS4 don't work in CS5--but many.
Fair warning, though... probably shouldn't do this if you really care about stability
(PS: I'm not saying I do...)
Let me rephrase my answer:
I'm not saying to not do something. I'm saying that you won't get any help from me if you do.
Thanks for all the advice .......I have found the files in AE but when I
put them into PP they do not show up......... I am putting them into
the plugins folder.....just as I did in CS4
Drop them in Plugins/Common folder. About 20 of them work.
I especially love Toner.
I have done that but still no joy .....I must be putting them in the wrong part somewhere ....
I have got 2 program folders .....program files & program(x86) all of the Adobe progs are in the program files(x86) except PP & AE are in program files.....why is this ......
Please explain where I get the CycoreFX and where i put them .
Thanks again for helping .
except PP & AE are in program files.....why is this ......
They are 64 bits programs.
In that folder (Program Files) you copy the effects from AE CS5 and paste them in the plugins folder (Common) of Pro CS5.
CS4 resides in Program Files (x86).
