    elements 8 crashing

    Maureen van den Bergh

Hi I am getting frustrated with elements 8. I have windows 7, 4MB of RAM, Two seperate hard drives1000GB hard and 140GB.  All media, video and phots are on smaller drive, software on big one.  Project saved on smaller drive.  Project is 34 mins of video with 150 photos.  Says system running low memory and just crashes.

What kind of camcorder is your video coming from and how did you get it into your computer?

Which project settings are you using in Premiere Elements?

Have you resized all of your photos to no larger than 1000x750 pixels, per our FAQs?

When there are red lines above your clips on your timline, have rendered your timeline by pressing Enter so that the red lines turn green?

If the still images are larger than the Video Frame Size, this ARTICLE will be helpful for Scaling to the Project's Frame Size.

            Good luck,
