Hello people,
I have a 5.1 soundtrack in my ready Premiere Pro project. How I can convert this to be able to work on individually in 6 mono tracks around them.
Are 6 Monfiels given afterwards correctly as 5.1 Audiofile on the Soundsystem?
Thanks
Select clip in Project Window, go to clip/audio options/break out to mono.
You need the Surcode Plugin in order to export to 5.1.
There are three trials for you to experiment.
Ann's Breakout to Mono is the secret. Once done, you can selectively Export each mono file separately. You can also Export to WMA as a multi-channel file, that can then be broken apart in Audition in Multi-track Mode. I do not know if Soundbooth can do this, but it HAS added Multi-track, so it is possible.
Note: if you do use the Minnetonka SurCode DD 5.1 SS plug-in encoder (optional), the channel order will be slightly different. If you then go to break that apart, let me know, and I will give you the SurCode track order.
Good luck,
Hunt
