Custom ReminderInfo - How to?

A task is being assigned to a User. The target date to complete the task is 5 days from the assigned date.

I need to create two reminders

     First reminder 1 day before the target date

     Second reminder after 1 day of the target date (should enabled only if the task is not completed within target date).

Can someone suggest any idea how to implement this.

I have created a short-lived process to determine the First reminder. However, I dono how to proceed further.

And, is there a way to set the reminder for just two times? (not repeated reminder)

We have a built-in reminder functionality in the user step that do both reminders (after 5 days) and repeating reminders (every x  days after the first reminders).

Can't you use that?
