Yes,. instead of an absolute size use a percentage, such as
I understand that much. But how would I size it dynamically?
Basically, I want the user to open up two "explorer type" windows and resize them (as you would in WIndows) and drag a file from one to another. I'm trying to see if they can resize a specific panel, not the entire page.
To size a component dynamically, you simply have to set its height and width properties.
In your exemple, you have to add an EventListener on you panel for MouseDown Event. Then you check the mouse coordinates to see if the mouse is in the corner. Finally you set panel.width to mouse.x-panel.x and panel.height to mouse.y-panel.y.
Or something like that.
You're going to want to uses a popup TitleWindow.
ok...how would I do this?:
I have a button in the middle of the screen (in runtime). I want to move my mouse to the bottom right corner, change the arrow to the "resize diagonal arrow" (like windows, drag my mouse in a downward right direction, let go of the mouse and the button automatically resize.
That's the next thing i'm trying to do. Any code examples or help?
