    CSS Default hyperlink

    ghi572000
      I am using dreamweaver 8.

      The default colour for my hyperlinks are fine but I want to add another new colour to a few of the links on the static page before rollover.

      What is the best way to achieve this?

      I am sure I just need to add a code in <style type="text/css"> ........</style> but where and how?

      Any help

      Thanks Gary

              I have created as followed and named .second link

              .second_link
              a:link {color: #339966;
              text-decoration: none;}
              a:visited {text-decoration: none;
              color: #CCCCCC;}
              a:hover {text-decoration: underline;
              color: #00FF00;}
              a:active {text-decoration: none;
              color: #FFFFFF;}
              a {font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
              font-size: 10px;}

              everything is okay apart from the underline style its not workind and cant find any info of how to activate for this .second_link?

                Try it like this -

                .second_link a {
                font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
                font-size: 10px;
                color: #339966;
                text-decoration: none;}

                .second_link a:visited {
                color: #CCCCCC;}

                .second_link a:hover {
                text-decoration: underline;
                color: #00FF00;}

                .second_link a:active {
                text-decoration: none;
                color: #FFFFFF;}

                The styles defined for <a> are inherited by all pseudo-classes if not
                otherwise changed.
