As in the AIR to create XLS-file? I use ActiveX, but it does not work. Here is my code:
<title>New Adobe AIR Project</title>
var av = new ActiveXObject("Excel.Application");
av.Visible = 1;
it gives the message - ReferenceError: Can't find variable: ActiveXObject.
Hi, I think it impossible because Adobe AIR is cross platform and this type of code only works on IE. You can look at this thread, http://old.nabble.com/Using-ActiveXObject-with-Adobe-AIR-and-Flex-td21238559.html
Google is your friend, or not.
thanks for the help.
I manage to open an xls-file with a ZIP-lib. So if your first figure out how the xls file is compiled by extracting one with a zipapplication. Then maybe you can generate xml-files and compress them to zip and rename the file to xls. Not sure if it works, but its worth a try.
