Hallo everybody. I have a question. I am not very expert in flex 4 but i am building some applications. I see that, in bin-debug directory there is a file named framework_126.96.36.19959.swf. This file is created in each project i create and it's size is 1 Mb. I think it is too much heavy for web based application, so i would like to know what this file is and if it is necessary for the project to run... Is there a way for deleting it or the project need to bring that file with it??..
Thx for all and sry for bad english
That is one of the framework RSLs. When you go to production, you should be
using the shared SWZ RSLs which are already cached on most people's
So, it means that the framework_188.8.131.5259.swf file is useful for people's who have not shared SWZ RSLs inside their machines?... Maybe I don't understand .. Do i have way to not bring that file with project or not??.. Please explain better..
Thx for all
The framework_184.108.40.20659.swf RSL contains debug information and is there so you can debug your application while using RSLs. In production you would use the corresponding SWZ file that does not contain debug information or unneeded metadata and is much smaller.
When you build a "release build" you should see framework_220.127.116.1159.swz instead of the SWF file.
