    WebService Error #2007

    R_Stoski
      I'm trying to call a remote WSDL using a WebService component. When I run the application, I get the following error:

      [RPC Fault faultString="Error #2007: Parameter url must be non-null." faultCode="InvokeFailed" faultDetail="null"]
      at mx.rpc::AbstractInvoker/ http://www.adobe.com/2006/flex/mx/internal::invoke()
      .........
      at mx.rpc.soap.mxml::Operation/send()
      .........

      The WebService is defined using the following MXML:
      <mx:WebService id="messageService" wsdl="..........">
      <mx:operation name="message" result="messageResult(event)">
      <mx:request format="xml">
      <Envelope class="" method="">
      <Parameter value=""/>
      </Envelope>
      </mx:request>
      </mx:operation>
      </mx:WebService>

      The service can be successfully called through a java application, so I know it works. I created a very basic "HelloWorld" service to test Flex, and that runs without error. I haven't been able to find anything on this error message, and am really lost at what the problem might be.

      Any help would be greatly appreciated. :-)

      Thank you
