1. Re: Premiere Cs4 setup for movie seq to tiffs
Bill Hunt Sep 4, 2010 5:08 PM (in response to l1o1t1r1)You should be able to Export to a TIFF Sequence from AME. You can limit the area of Export with the WAB (Work Area Bar).
In versions up through CS4, you can also use the FLM (Filmstrip) format.
Good luck,
Hunt

5. Re: Premiere Cs4 setup for movie seq to tiffs
Bill Hunt Sep 5, 2010 10:31 AM (in response to l1o1t1r1)Not every Export option has the choice of Full Sequence, or Work Area Only. If there is no checkbox, or drop-down to select Work Area Only, then that could be one of the Export options that does not allow it.
Another workflow could be to do a Save_As for the Project, leaving the original untouched. Then, just Delete all Clips/footage before that desired segment, and all after. Export the remaining Timeline (the area that you would have set with the WAB, if that had been an Export option). Import THAT TIFF Sequence into the original Project.
One could also do this with individual Sequences, and not have to leave the Project. One would create a New Sequence, and then just Copy/Paste the desired footage into that. Export from that New Sequence, in TIFF Sequence. [Note: for PrE users, the only way would be with separate Projects. PrPro makes it easier with Sequences.]
Good luck,
Hunt
