i have register the product and update v 5.0.2. still not found my hdv cam . thanks for your answer.
Make sure everything is set to hdv. Camera but also the capture settings in CS5.
Connect camera to pc. Switsh it on and let Window reconize the camera.
A pop up comes and asks you what you want to do.
Select Premiere CS5.
Premiere will open and you should be able to capture.
i dowload and opend but showe me camcorder is not recognized or connect.
i did what you said. but still not work. thanks.
If you are not seeing the HD Presets, it is possible that your full-paid version has reverted to trail. This has happened to some users.
if so, you will have no MPEG-2 functionality, and very limited, if any other MPEG support.
The steps to get back to full-paid version are:
1.) Deactivate - likely not possible, as it will probably be grayed out
2.) Uninstall PrPro
3.) Run Adobe Clean Script CS5 several times, re-booting between each one
4.) Reinstall PrPro
5.) Immediately update to CS5.0.2 before launch
6.) Launch and test
Can you capture DV?
If not you need to get Windows to reconize your camera first.
One thing you could try is setting the 1394 driver to Legacy.
i open windows devices and printer , devices section show me my sony hvr v1u.
