I am having issues downloading pdf attachments from my yahoo email account. Whenever i click on the pdf doc, what i get is a file conversion dialog box which asks me to choose the encoding that makes my document readable. The default encoding is the "Western Europen..windows". Upon clicking OK, i get a jumbled piece of doc that is basically meaningless to me (scroll down to view). Is anyone else having this issue, and how was it resolved?

The problem is how the pdf attachment has been encoded by the person sending you the pdf file. I would try to right-click on the attachment link and try to do a Save as to save the file to disk. Then see if you can open the resulting file in Reader.
I have had this frustrating message for about 2 months. It is so annoying. The only way I can open them is to save to desktop and then open with adobe. I have uninstalled, reinstalled followed the instructiohns in online help- all to no avail! Good luck trying to fix it! I will watch with interest!
Michael, your suggestion didn't work for me! Do you have another suggestion??
