    Mouse over plays animation

    helpprettyplease

      Image mouse overs cause fades the image to "black and white" and calls up a "view more" animation.

      As far as I can tell, there are no sprites or images associated with this "view more" clip! I have searched everywhere, the images, graphics, movies, root directory.

      I probably have to give you more information, at least tell me where to start =(

            You should probably take your time and try to describe things more clearly.  Don't forget to indicate what the details of the problem that you are trying to solve.

              You're right. Please let me explain more clearly.

              I have a dynamic image that is loaded by the following:

              onClipEvent (load)

              {

                  imageProperties = _root.getCurrentImageName(0);

                  loadMovie(_root.url + imageProperties.name, this.cont.pic);

                  url = imageProperties.linkToOpen;

                  targetWindow = imageProperties.target;

              }

              When you mouse over the image, it fades to "black and white" and calls up a "view more" animation. I want to get rid of the "view more" clip. I can't seem to find it anywhere in the flash file. Where would be the best place to look for it?

                use movie explorer to search for actionscript that applies a rollOver handler to:

                this.cont.pic

                  I searched with movie explorer and was not able to find an instance for "this.cont.pic" (I made sure it was searching through everything).

                  The only instance of rollover/rollout is the following:

                  stop ();

                  this.onRollOver = function ()

                  {

                      if (_parent._parent._parent._parent._parent.numLoadTitle != _parent.num)

                      {

                          gotoAndPlay("s1");

                      } // end if

                  };

                  this.onRollOut = this.onReleaseOutside = function ()

                  {

                      if (_parent._parent._parent._parent._parent.numLoadTitle != _parent.num)

                      {

                          gotoAndPlay("s2");

                      } // end if

                  };

                  this.onRelease = function ()

                  {

                      if (_parent._parent._parent._parent._parent.numLoadTitle != _parent.num)

                      {

                          _parent._parent["mini" + _parent._parent._parent._parent._parent.numLoadTitle].cont.gotoAndPlay("s2");

                          _parent._parent["mini" + _parent._parent._parent._parent._parent.numLoadTitle].cont.useHandCursor = true;

                          this.useHandCursor = false;

                          _parent._parent._parent._parent._parent.numLoadTitle = _parent.num;

                          _parent._parent._parent._parent._parent.play();

                      } // end if

                  };

                  What is gotoAndPlay("s1/s2)" calling up? Where would I be able to find it as well? Thank you for being patient and so considerate.

                    put a trace() in the rollover handler and see it traces when you rollover you image.

                    if that fails, search for pic in movie explorer.
