why would you want to do that. the fading is designed to indicate what's not part of the symbol and therefore what can't be edited while on that timeline.
if you don't want to see the other stuff, go directly to the symbols timeline via the library.
kglad I want to do that because I am making a stereoscopic flash animation in stereopair format, and the most convenient way to do that would be to duplicate the original graphic of the animation for the second view, place it next to it and tweak it, however the fact the other one fades makes crosseyed viewing uncomfortable. What I'm doing now is instead of using graphics that contain all the animation I just duplicate the entire animation, enable "select multiple frames" and offset but it's not as "clean" to do.
so is there any way to disable the fading effect?
the left eye view and right eye view should be in different layers. you can then hide each layer when you need.
kglad sorry but you seem to misunderstand what I'm trying to do. so I guess there's no way to disable the fading.
