i have tried to delete my reader, but didn't use uninstall but simply tried to delete the whole folder. two files couldn't be deleted. since then, when i try to download the newest version of adobe reader, i get the following message:
"the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. click OK to try again,or enter an alternat path to a folder containing the installation package 'AcroRead.msi' in the box below." please help me find a solution
You should have uninstalled Reader from control panel as simply deleting folder will not work for windows.
Now you can do one thing:
•Download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility from http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html and run it;
•Run the tool from Start | Programs | Windows Install Clean Up;
•Select 'Adobe Reader' and click the "Remove' button; close the tool;
•Download the 9.3.4 http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.3.4/enu/AdbeRdr934_en_US.exe and run it.
