Are you working through Flash to export the swf to mp4? I was originally using CS3 and now have upgraded to CS5 but this is still not an option unless you export to movie for quicktime, use the MP4 compression option, but then it still saves as .mov file? Am I missing something?
No sorry for the confusion..... just trying to raise a similar question to yours...intending to add additional exposure to the demand for extra output features from Adobe Flash CS5. Am a bit frustrated with this lack of output features, if the Adobe Flash software package would take ownership of the process of making eg mp4 files would be a great improvement in many ways.

Gotcha, Thanks for bringing exposure to this. There's a lot of support for web-based applications and video exporting, but nothing for cross platform exporting. I think I'm better off just replicating the effects in powerpoint as opposed to embedding pixelized movies.
