We are using Contribute CS4, CPS, and Windows XP on the client. After we develop a web page draft in Contribute, and select Send > Send for Review, a copy of the draft is sent to the reviewer and a copy of the draft (let's call the draft 'new_test") is also left on the client's Sites folder called 'new_test.cfm.ILK'. We are using Cold Fusion, hence the .cfm, but what is the .ILK? It is not the regular .LCK extension we are used to seeing (which is a lock). is the .ILK a similar but different type of lock? We received both .LCK and .ILK files after we sent thr draft. Thank you.
This ".ILK" is to avoid users editing the same page in browsers (IBE - In Browser Editing). Please refer to, http://blogs.adobe.com/contribute/2009/03/in_browser_editor_1.html for more information on In Browser Editing.

Hope this helps you.
