I have the objective to use the combination of PSE V7 and of Windows 7 Media Player, to display my PSE V7 Albums as slide shows on my TV.
For the time being, I am doing my first tests with the combination of PSE V7 and Windows 7 Media Player by displaying my PSE V7 Albums as slide shows on my ***PC Monitor*** (not yet on my TV).
What surprised me: when displaying a PSE V7 Album via a Windows Media Player slide show: it is every photo of each Versionset that gets displayed - not just the top foto of each Versionset. This is obviously neither reasonable nor correct (after all, when displaying an Album within the PSE Organizer, it is only the top foto of each versionset that gets displayed, unless I explictely expand some Versionsets - in most of the cases, when swhowing my Albums to friends, it is surely not each foto-version created as part of my editing activities, that I wish to show to my friends (instead it is only the top foto of each Versionset, representing the end result of my editing activties that I wish to get displayed). Also when displaying within the PSE Organizer an Album in Full-Screen View Mode, it is also only the top foto of each Versionset that gets displayed, with the exception of those Versionsets that I have explictely expanded).
Is anybody aware of the problem and of a reasonable work-around? And do you also consider this as a "bug" that should get fixed?
Note: creating for each one of my many, many, many Albums a "Creation" / Slide-Show is not a work-around that I consider to be reasobable; especially because in the past with most new PSE Versions, the Creations of previous PSE Versions were not functioning with the new PSE version.
Thanks in advance for a solution or work-around.
