Enabling this option means that Fireworks will save a preview thumbnail of each page in a Fireworks PNG file.
This is useful for the pages preview feature which will enable you to use the "Preview" button in open/import dialog.
The feature allows you to import any page onto the current page. A new page can also be inserted from any multi page Fireworks png file.
Hope it helps.
Thank you both for your help!
I personally don't use thumbnails, but this option is enabled by default. Should I just leave it that way?
Btw, right now I study lynda's FW CS4 Essential Training video course. Its really great!!!
Thanks a LOT!
Are you a Torontonian? I was in Toronto in summer 2008. Nice city. Though its a little bit too
multi-culti for my taste. But its probably the best in Canada.
If you own CS5, I'd recommend my Essential Training for Fireworks CS5, rather than my CS4 title. I hope you will find it helpful.
As Sathak mentions there are many reaons for keeping the thumbnail previews enabled.
And yes I'm a Torontonian. Lived here all my life in fact. :-)
Is there a major difference between FW CS4 and CS5? Could you give me an example
Say, I know about the PS...But though there´re some improvements, generally speaking, its the same.
The only really useful thing is smart radius selection as far as I know.
