I have followed the Help instructions to create a new Preset. Currently, the NTSC preset allows only 720 X 480 for Standard Hz. I clicked the "New Preset" button, and it will allow me to change safe zones, but it will NOT allow me to change the frame size. I was trying to create a frame size of 320 X 240. I also needed to create a frame size of 640 X 480 for a Flip Video camera.
Does anyone know how to change Frame Size on a new Preset in Premiere Elements 4?
Are you talking about creating a project preset or a Share preset? And, if the latter, which Share category are you creating it for?
It is not available to create a custom frame sized project preset, however, in Premiere Elements.
Thanks, Steve. I was trying to create a Project Preset, and now that I know I can't create custom frame sizes, it's off to Premier Pro CS5.
If you do go to PrPro CS5, there is a great new feature added to it. Just Import your source files, and then drag one of them to the New Icon at the bottom of the Project Panel, where it will read your source footage, and create a new Sequence to match it.
