One of my Contribute users has been working fine and doing regular updates up until yesterday when he began receiving the access denied/permission problem error. He said he has not changed anything and I have not changed anything. I have checked and all his permissions are still in place. I've tried sending new connection keys and even trying to manually create a connection. We have also uninstalled and re-installed Contribute (CS5). None of my other users are having this problem.
At this point, I don't even know which direction to investigate. Any help would be greately appreciated.
Please check your server side setting on website folders your clients are connecting to. Whether they have permission to read and write or it got changed.
All the permissions seem to be in place. All my users are set up in groups and the other lady in the group with this guy is not having any problems. They have the exact same set-up.
Turns out it was a very bizarre network issue. The network guys corrected this issue.
