1. Re: Adobe Reader default resolution is 110 pixels/inch!?
hidarikani Oct 1, 2010 2:16 AM (in response to hidarikani)This is really weird.
Why does Adobe Reader display documents in 110 resolution by default?
It makes all images in the document blurry.
What is even weirder is that nobody replied to my post.
Is everybody OK with the fact that your clients view your pdfs blurred?

hidarikani Oct 3, 2010 8:47 AM (in response to ~graffiti)Thanks for the reply.
What's the resolution setting in your installation of Adobe Reader?
I'm actually converting .docx files to pdf.
In Word the pics look great (!00% zoom), but in Adobe Reader they look bigger and blurred (100% zoom).
Then I change the Adobe Reader's resolution to 'use system setting' and pics in reader start to look good too.
I can't force everyone that views the pdf to change the Reader's resolution setting. Whan can I do?

A.Aljabri Feb 27, 2011 8:40 AM (in response to hidarikani)This is a problem I have experinced too and I have no idea what Adobe was thinking when they have done this. I have check with sveral freinds and they all have their reader set to 110 by default. I guess one way to counter this problem is to makeyour files in 100PPI so that they work with both 96 and 110 ppi.
