          If you are using Flex 4 you should look into DataGroups.

            I would think in most cases itemRenderers would trump the use of a Repeater. Originally I used repeaters, but I quickly learned that itemRenderers do the job much more efficiently and effectively.

             

            I would look that up if you got the time, or maybe your're already aware of them.

              Hi Anderson,

               

              Flex Repeater is basically a loop function in mxml. You give the repeater a data provider (A collection of data), and the repeater will iterate over that collection and display the MXML components within the repeater.

               

              The Repeater class is the runtime object that corresponds to the <mx:Repeater> tag. It creates multiple instances of its subcomponents based on its dataProvider. The repeated components can be any standard or custom controls or containers.
