Did you set up these check boxes to be mutually exclusive, or can they both be checked at the same time? Are you using a text field with a bar code font to display a bar code symbol?
Yes the checkboxes are exclusive, only one can be checked. And I have the barcode and font set up like that as well, in a text field
You should set the export value of each check box to the number you want associated with it (1200, 1300), and you can use the following in the text field's custom calculation script:
// Calculation script for bar code field
var v = getField("your_checkbox").value
event.value = (v !== "Off") ? v : "";
Replace "your_checkbox" with the name of the check box fields you're using. This is assuming you don't have to calculate a check character for the bar code field.
If you don't want to set up the text field as a calculated field, you can do something similar in the MouseUp event of each check box. Something like:
// MouseUp script for check boxes
getField("barcode").value = (event.target.value !== "Off") ? event.target.value : "";
but use the actual bar code field name.
That calculation script worked perfect, thanks so much for your help! Definitely wouldn't have been able to come up with that on my own!
