    Multi-column forms, will this work?

    ministe2003

      Hi, I've been investigating creating multi-column forms in flex, a lot of sites say it cant be done, others offer complicated solutions, all of which have flaws.

      Nobody has suggested just putting form tags around a grid??  Is there some reason why this wouldnt work?  It looks fine, would doing this break the Submit function of the form? There must be a reason why experienced Flex coders havent suggested such a simple idea, no?

      Thanks

      <mx:Form>
           <mx:Grid>
                <mx:GridRow>
                     <mx:GridItem>
                          <mx:FormItem label="Name:">
                               <mx:TextInput id="test1" />
                          </mx:FormItem>
                     </mx:GridItem>
                     <mx:GridItem>
                          <mx:FormItem label="Email:">
                               <mx:TextInput id="test2" />
                          </mx:FormItem>
                     </mx:GridItem>
                </mx:GridRow>
           </mx:Grid>
      </mx:Form>
