How are you getting the parameters inside your app?
Can you show us your code?
Here is some example code that is goof after a URL for authentication: var testparm:String = FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication.parameters.authenticationURL The authenticationURL is being set in the flashvars parm list where each parm is separated by an ampersand.
var params:Object = Application.application.parameters;
Here is also an example:
'movie','badge' ); //end AC code
And here is the Flex code that gets run in the application's init() method:
var test:String = FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication.parameters.testparm;
Alert.show("testparm=" + test, 'Alert Box', mx.controls.Alert.OK);
Note that I have also tried using the deprecated "Application.application.parameters" as you suggested but in both cases, I just get a null value.
I should also be clear that this is FLEX application deployed to the user's desktop. It is not being run in a browser.
mmm.. try this:
[Bindable] public var flashvarname:String;
var params:Object = this.parameters;
flashvarname = params.testparm;
