1. Re: What is the CSH call format for AIRHelp BROWSER format?
Jeff_Coatsworth Sep 20, 2010 1:16 PM (in response to chunkee)I think it's the same for WebHelp - check Peter Grainge's site for more info on AIRHelp (www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/air/air.htm)

ktel_1888 Feb 3, 2012 11:39 AM (in response to Jeff_Coatsworth)Speaking from experience (and Jeff can attest to this as he has replied to one of my own queries on this site), Peter Grainge's site and some of the other seemingly Adobe-funded sites say that calling context-sensitive help through Air Browser Based Help is the same as when calling WebHelp, but I'm not sure it's that simple.
I've had limited success in using the existing WebHelp API that comes out of the box with RH9.
From my experience so far, you will be able to:
- Launch a specific page of your Air Browser Help using context-sensitivity.
But, using the newwnd=false option will not work if you prefer to launch the help in your main browser window rather than a popup.
Hopefully Adobe is working on this as we speak.

Peter Grainge Feb 3, 2012 11:44 AM (in response to ktel_1888)Just for the record my site is not funded in any way by Adobe. They make no contribution to the costs or time spent maintaining it.
See www.grainge.org for RoboHelp and Authoring tips

Jeff_Coatsworth Feb 3, 2012 11:57 AM (in response to ktel_1888)Whoa, hold on there - Peter's site, Willam's site, Rick's site, and Colum's blog are all independent - none of them get funding from Adobe.
This is strictly a user-to-user forum; don't expect Adobe to be paying too much attention to issues discussed on this forum. If you want to get something on their official radar, use this link: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform&product=38 or talk to Adobe Support.

6. Re: What is the CSH call format for AIRHelp BROWSER format?
ktel_1888 Feb 3, 2012 12:08 PM (in response to chunkee)Well, now that we've established the credibility of the human resources at hand, maybe we can return to the useability of the technical resources at hand (Adobe Robohelp).
I took Peter's recommendation and reread the Robohelp Air portion of his site and while it was very useful for taking me through the basics of generating and understanding Air-based Help (and thank you for that), it added nothing in the way of how to use the context-sensitivity except for "It's the same as WebHelp," which is no fault of Peter's because that statement appears to be mostly true.
However, it's that other 10% (the not true portion of the statement) which is throwing me and other users for a loop.
Does anyone know how to get Air Browser-Based Help to open in the main browser window rather than a popup?

Willam van Weelden Feb 9, 2012 6:43 AM (in response to Jeff_Coatsworth)For anyone stumbling upon this thread: I did some testing with CSH calls to browser based AIR help and created a small article with my findings: http://www.wvanweelden.eu/robohelp/context_sensitivity_in_browser_base d_airhelp
