Hi i have a upload csv area, but i am getting a error of
The request has exceeded the allowable time limit Tag: CFQUERY
is there away around this error?

You can set timeouts for the page with the cfsetting tag. Details are in the cfml reference manual. If you don't have one, the internet does.

Put this at the top of your file that is timing out on you...
<cfsetting requesttimeout="150">
that is 150 seconds you can set it to 1500000000 if you have something incredibly long...
