    ItemRenderer custom display

    bill_baroud

      Hello all,

      i'm using a custom itemRender to display data from a DataGroup

      <s:DataGroup id="myId" dataProvider = "{myArrayCol}" itemRenderer="myCustomRenderer" />

      And i would like to skip the display of some chosen items, for examples those who have their display property set to true :

      <s:ItemRenderer xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
                     xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
                     xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx" creationComplete="init(event)" />

      public function init(event:Event):void
      {
           if(data.display == true){
                this.visible = false;

           }
      }

      Items are correctly hidden but the space they would have occupied is still here... is there a way to hide them the same way as "display:none" in XHTML/CSS ??

      many thanks
