    Round tripping probs

    Missteach Community Member

With the Master Collection CS5 installed and Captivate 5 also installed, I assumed I would be able to edit audio with Soundbooth and edit images with Photoshop with the featured roundtrip editing function.  However, the EDIT IN SOUNDBOOTH is greyed out and the Photoshop UPDATE button is greyed out.

Looking here, it seems that the eLearning Suite 2 is required to make this work.  Well, apart from 'Presenter', I can't see that the Master Collection has any programs missing from eLS2.  Am I right in thinking I need to buy Presenter as well?

          Hello,

I'm really very sorry, and wish it were different, but you need the eLearning Suite 2 to have the roundtripping functionalities. I think you can edit with Photoshop, but do not know how to realize the direct roundtripping with Soundbooth.

            Hello,

I have Captivate 5.5 and Adobe Cloud. I was expecting that roundtripping would work with that combination but no luck. Do I also need eLearning suite in addition to Captivate and Cloud?

Update: I am one frustrated customer right now. I have tried the customer support number only to have an extremely long wait, then someone answers, then hung up on. I have tried this support area, live help, tweet, and nothing. I went on the assumption that I would need the eLearning Suite so I downloaded it and tried to intall; and tried to install; and tried to install. It doesn't complete the intall. Maybe it has something to do with nearly every application I'm downloading I already have within Adobe Cloud.

So eLearning Suite doesn't work, I still don't have the use of roundtripping and Adobe support is the worst I've seen. Anyone out there in Adobe land actually give a damn?
