I've been working on an desktop AIR project for months now and have successfully exported release packages many times, but today after some additions to the project, export release no longer finishes and doesn't give me any error messages. After selecting the export release build, I then enter the password for the certificate, then press finished. The project builds as usually, with the progress bar moving all the way to completion. Once complete, the finish button is active again, which after pressing, it does the same thing, but no AIR package is every created.
Is there a way to enable more verbose logging while creating the AIR package? or if anyone has any other suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
I'm using Flex 4, with all the latest updates on MAC OS X 10.6.4.
Thank you in advance,
Could you try to use adt to package the AIR file?
There might be some error messages that doesn't get caught by Flash Builder.
Have you modified the Application Descriptor since last succeful packaging?
I did make changes to the project's Application Descriptor XML file and after backing them out, the package builds fine.
There are some errors that Flash Builder doesn't seem to be able to catch and display.
But if you try to package the AIR file with ADT, adt will display the error clearly.
