Why the vertical margin space for SWFs in IE8? ...

Does anyone know why IE8 leaves a large gap between the top of the browser window and Flash SWF content? Here's my example:

In all other browers the SWF is flush at the top of the browser window. But IE8 is leaving a vertical gap of roughly 100 pixels. Does anyone know how to get the SWF flush to the top of the browser window in IE8? I thought it was a CSS issue but it's not. Is this a Javascript fix needed specifically for IE8, or something else?

      Many thanks
