brianwrx Sep 23, 2010 1:28 PM (in response to Steve Grisetti)Boooo!!!
Although as long as I can export the project in a format that won't have to be retranscoded later if I read the finished video in as a single clip, then I guess that would meet my needs.
Will Pre9 burn blu-rays in VC-1 or MPEG2 or both?

Steve Grisetti Sep 23, 2010 3:01 PM (in response to brianwrx)The program burns BluRay files with H.264 compression.
I'm not sure of the specifics from there.

5. Re: PRE9 - is Blu-Ray burn to folder now available?
brianwrx Nov 29, 2010 7:28 PM (in response to nealeh)I usually burn a disc anyway, so it would be no big deal for me to copy that disc afterwards. My question is, can I just copy the folders off the BD-R to my hard drive and reburn later using Nero? Or do I need an ISO ripper? If so, can anyone recommend a good free one?
If no one knows, I'll do an experiment next time I make a movie disc. I'll report back with my results, but my next disc is a few months off.

6. Re: PRE9 - is Blu-Ray burn to folder now available?
Bill Hunt Nov 29, 2010 7:56 PM (in response to brianwrx)Not sure what Nero requires, but with ImgBurn (free burning utility), you can do a disk Copy, or can Copy the full folder structure to the HDD, and then bun multiple copies. If one has only one BD drive, then basically, they WILL be first Copying the contents, and then doing the Burn. If they have 2 BD drives, then it's a simple Copy from the disk to the second.
Good luck,
Hunt
