I've rotobrushed about 20 frames and now I want to fill the area with paint -- (I will use the eyedropper to match the surrounding color.)
See the attached screen shot.
What steps do I take to do this in rotobrush? I assume I can "fill" a matte with paintbrush or a "paintbucket". Or is my only option to put a color layer below the matte layer.
• Duplicate the layer and apply Generate/Fill effect
• Create a new solid layer the same size as your footage layer and copy the masks onto it
• Create a solid layer and use a duplicate of the footage layer as a track matte
I think I will go with the below:
>> I• Duplicate the layer and apply Generate/Fill effect <<
If I duplicate the layer (and I assume you mean the layer that has the rotobrush effect) do I put the duplicated layer on top or directly on the bottom of the rotobrush layer.
(I'll try both, but in the meantime if you could clarify that for me.... - such as any specific settings in generate fill effect -- I see several dropdowns and at least one checkmark
