flash php sql only working in test movie

    Optikalefx Level 1
i used loadVars and it works fine in test movie in flash.
on the internet it doenst do anything

when i use loadVariables and have it wait 10 seconds b4 it uses the variables it loads info from the sql to enable the button so that does show up, but the dynamic text fields, (which come from the same database) are now undefined. why wont either of thise work!?

      www.4tenonline.com/justwork.swf

the reason the button flashes is because its set to invisible when it loads, and then php and sql determine if it is visible or not.

this flash file the justwork.swf is using loadVariables

          These are two different servers:
www.4tenproductions.com (crossdomain only allows data to SWFs living here)
          www.4tenonline.com (SWF lives here)

So back to my original recommendation: update your crossdomain.xml file :)

            this actually made me laugh.

see i own www.4tenproductions.com and then we changed to do more than just production, so i added 4tenonline.com to my domain. its not a different site or anything, its just u can go to either 4tenonline or 4tenproductions and they give u the same page. u cant do exclusive content on either one.

so i always test my flash stuff with 4tenonline.com because its quicker to type. low and behold if i just test it using 4tenproductions.com it works fine. thankyou for helping me out. i appreciate it greatly.

:) No problem. I do the same thing...that's the risk of running sites
              with similar domains.

              Good luck!
