Since AIR runtime kept updating, there is some gritch for AIR apprication creation from Fireworks.
Here is a workaround to create AIR files.
Tips. Create an folder to put your current working PNG file since creating AIR commands generate bunch of cache files to avoid mess.
Please follow this steps.
01. From File Menu, select HTML Setup to choose, "AIR HTML" for HTML Style.
02. Save file.
03. From Commands Menu, Create AIR
04. Fill up all the information. For inclued Files, select current working png doc.
05. Click Preview to check your AIR preview.
Clicking "Create AIR files" sometimes not working correctly.
In this case, cancel to close Create AIR File dialog and save file. Then go back to Commands menu to Create AIR again.
You have to specify Installer Setting section agian. make sure to choose Include files.
Click "Create AIR files" button.

Can you check to see if you have the Create AIR File swf in the location <installdrive>/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Fireworks CS5/Configuration/Commands/Create AIR File.swf.In case you do not have this file you can reinstall Fireworks and make sure you check the box for Adobe AIR installation while installing.
