Update Adobe Bridge CS5 to version 4.0.3 to resolve the conflict. Go to the Product updates page to download the update.
There is a known conflict between Adobe Bridge CS5 and the Norton 360 or Norton Secure Suite software. Norton software creates a virtual instance of the user's drive, which when attempting to browse, creates a memory-usage conflict with Adobe Bridge.
I didn't see that specific update, which one should I choose? Thanks for answering.
I am having the same issue.
MacBook Pro, OSX 10.6.4
Photoshop CS5, Bridge CS5
It will not open, I have reinstalled, cleared the cache, & reset preferences, + installed the patch.
I do have Bridge CS3 that came with my PS Elements, & that works. Do not have any Norton, or other software running.
