John Waller Oct 4, 2010 1:03 PM (in response to andrewmcgibbon)We'd have to see the files to comment further as to whether its DW or your local system.
Do you have another computer to try it on?

5. Re: Dreamweaver Crashes Moving from Code to Design View
John Waller Oct 4, 2010 1:33 PM (in response to andrewmcgibbon)Easiest way is to upload to a temporary folder on the web somewhere (do you have an existing website where you could put it?) and give us a link.

8. Re: Dreamweaver Crashes Moving from Code to Design View
andrewmcgibbon Oct 5, 2010 10:24 AM (in response to John Waller)Thanks for your response. The odd thing though, the first couple of errors are related to code that Dreamweaver has put into the document. I wouldn't know where to begin to troubleshoot some of the more complex code.
As you rightly pointed out, however, this should not cause DW to freeze. Any other thoughts and suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy

Nancy O. Oct 5, 2010 2:12 PM (in response to andrewmcgibbon)Your site is built in ASP?
ASP is a server side technology and hence requires server processing.

10. Re: Dreamweaver Crashes Moving from Code to Design View
andrewmcgibbon Oct 5, 2010 2:30 PM (in response to andrewmcgibbon)I'm well aware that it is in ASP, the entire site is in ASP, yet this is the only section of the site which a) crashes Dreamweaver; and b) was created on a Mac and not a pc. The fact that it is asp should NOT crash DW.
