Let's see if the masters have an idea on this one. I know it sounds like something that should be done in Photoshop, but I'd really like to add this to a PRE8 video.
Looking for a way to basically take 2 dozen or so images and create a "vanishing point" type slideshow in which the images appear, then vanish into the distance as the next one pops up, but would like to do it at an increasing speed per image, finalizing with one picture.
It might be something I have to do in flash though and import......grumble.....
If you are talking about the pixel x pixel dimensions of the images, and not actually altering their perspective (like Vanishing Point in Photoshop), then all you need to do is Keyframe the fixed Effect>Scale. This is done from the Effects Control Panel, with Edit Effects, with the image/Clip Selected in the Timeline.
I do this quite often with Titles, where the Title begins at a Scale of 0 and then "zooms" to 100%.
Unfortunately, this is not an easy effect to pull off on a single-timeline program like Premiere Elements.
It's really much easier on pro software like Premiere Pro, which has an embedded timeline feature, or better yet After Effects, which is made for doing this kind of work in.
