You might have to embed fonts to alpha the text
Surely this is a bug? It's not just the text that's the issue; the header and column dividing lines remain black instead of going grey like the outline border. It's like it's half enabled/disabled.
If I do this:
It has half the effect. The rows remain blue/white and the header text and dividing lines are black. The outline border greys out.
However, if I do:
The entire DataGrid greys out.
The same can be said for Labels; if I disable a label, it doesn't change colour. Whereas wrap it in a Group and disable the group and you get the desired effect.
Is this the correct behaviour?
Looks like Spark Label doesn't support enable.
The DG only disables certain things and doesn't switch highlight/rollover
colors or line colors. If you want that, you'll have to customize it to do
If Label doesn't support enable, can the property be removed? If it's not going to work, it may as well be removed.
As for DataGrid, if I have to create additional code, then surely the enabled property is only doing half a job and should either be removed or the description amended to state what it actually does. Perhaps an additional comment that suggests wrapping the DG in a Group to fully utilise the enabled properties may be an idea. Else it's just confusing.
Please file a bugs for these issues.
