I keep my personal program files on a separate external drive in case of need to
reinstall. So my Reader is on this separate drive.
But it is not clear that this is where the updates go.
Most programs give you a location choice as to where to install the updates.
Why doesn't Adobe - and will they change this?
When an Adobe application like Adobe Reader updates, it finds and replaces the original files with the ones in the update patch. This means that the update goes to where the application is installed.
I hope this answers your question!
Thankyou so much
Clearly it would help if Adobe told us this - then we would not have to
bother people to ask.
