Ok, as we all know when you compile your project it creates a .swf file. My app gets information from an XML file. After compiling my app I go to the bin/debug folder where the xml file and the .swf file are located. I modify the xml file and run the .swf file but appareantly no changes are made in my app.. Does this mean that all data is static or am I just going about the wrong way? I want to be able to change data in my app without having to hardcode it. any detailed help is greatly appreciated.
Don't place it in bin folder. Place it in SRC folder.
What I mean, once compiled can an app change if the xml file's values change? (without having to recompile- just by running the swf file)
because after compiling I went to the bin-debug folder in the project folder (on desktop) and modified the XML file, i then ran the .swf file that was in the bin-debug folder and none of the values changed....
