I have a project with a couple of .mov files. The audio and video are in the same file and play aligned when I view them individually with Quicktime. However, once I export the AE project (I'm using CS5) the video lags behind the audio. I have never run across this issue before and I don't know how to resolve it. Any ideas?
Have you installed the After Effects CS5 (10.0.1) update? That update fixes a lot of problems, including some with audio synch.
What are the codecs used in the QuickTime movies that you're importing? What format and codec are you rendering and exporting to?
Are the audio and video in synch when you do a RAM preview in After Effects?
I installed the update and re-rendered. I am still having the same problem.
When I do a RAM preview I can only preview the video and audio separately. They do not preview together like they should (Volume is not muted or any other obvious options setting). It does appear that they would be synced if they were to play together though.
The .mov files I am dropping into After Effects are QuickTime H.264 and I am exporting them as QuickTime (Apple Animation).
