FM 9 crashes with a ditamap file when I try to save as PDF or print to PDF

FM 9 p255
Acrobat Pro 9.4.0

Both from Tech Comm Suite 2.0

Windows XP sp3

I took the heirarchy.ditamap file that is in the FM 9 samples for DITA and tried to generate a PDF by selecting Save as PDF or Print and using the Adobe PDF printer driver.

I crash every time.

My error is Internal Error: 9004, 6921628, 9677518, 0

I can print the individual XML files, I can save the ditamap as a book file. The book file also crashes.

If I select two files from the sample, I can print them as a PDF without crashing, but not four files.

In my Acrobat settings, I made sure Generate Tagged PDF was selected.

Any help resolving this issue is much appreciated.

I found out that my problem was caused by a Microsoft issue relating to creatig Postscript files. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/952909 for more information and the downloadthat fixed my issue.
