How do you insert codes in Fireworks? For example I want my google map to appear on the page.. is this possible?

Fireworks software enables you to create graphics and produce websites, user interfaces, and prototypes that are editable in both vector and bitmap modes.

There is no place in Fireworks to insert code.

You may want to check out Dreamweaver CS5.

Dreamweaver lets you design websites visually or directly in code.

Add a slice to the document where you want the map to appear. In the Property panel, change the slice type from the default Foreground Image to HTML. An Edit button will appear. Click on the Edit button to open the HTML editor. Paste your code in. Preview in browser. If it doesn't work it's not my fault. :-)

I gave that a try Linda and it worked for me.

So much for my answer, sorry about that.

I demo this process in my Fireworks training, but I would stress that it should be considered a prototyping option, not final web site code. The only real viable option to output true web pages is via CSS and Images export, but HTML slices are ignored in this workflow.
