    Splash screen for Mac

If I use a .PICT with the same name and in the same directory as my projector will it work as a Splash screeen? I did it with a .PCT file and that worked. Are these the same file type?

I believe they are the same format. Typically .PCT would be the file
extension used on Windows to comply with the old 8.3 DOS naming convention.
I don't work on Macs, but my guess is it should work. If it doesn't then you
could probably just change the extension to .PCT.

Nope. It didn't work. I was able to convert the original BMP to a PCT, now I have to travel one hour to get to the closest Mac and test it. It should work because I did it with a PCT before successfully.
