Even after creating a new role with a different name and then selecting "Send Connection Key" the new role is STILL not showing up.

Can you try removing the administration for your website, then administering it. After administering the website, try creating new roles. To do this, the steps are:
- After connecting to your website, click Edit -> Administer Websites, and select your website in the menu.
- In the Administration dialog, select Administration from the left panel, and click Remove Administration button.
- Click OK in the warning dialogs.
- Now, click Edit -> Administer Websites, and select your website in the menu, to administer the website again.
Now, can you try creating roles, and check whether they are displayed, after closing the administration dialog, and opening it again. And, you are able to send connection keys to the users of those roles.
